|
If you have endured
the loss of a family member and wish to
be notified of the Yahrzeit please
log into ShulCloud
with your username
and password. Once
you
are in your account

High Holiday Ticket Request 5780/2019
|
Dear Fellow Congregants,
In less than eight weeks, we will once again be ushering in the New Year. The Young Israel of Scarsdale will be offering High Holiday Services in the Main Shul, Social Hall, Sephardic Minyan, and at the JCC, as well as the Untraditional Service in the Greene Gallery.
The High Holiday Committee is, once again, offering the congregation the ability to register online for High Holiday seats via the Young Israel of Scarsdale website. As a reminder, everyone attending High Holiday services will be required to show their tickets.
High Holiday tickets for immediate family members are included in your dues. Guest seats will be available for purchase with the following options:
- only Rosh Hashanah ($150)
- only Yom Kippur ($100)
- both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur ($225).
We remind you that students and children ages 23 and older, whether living at home or not, are considered "guests" and must have seats purchased for them. Also, children who have not entered into their Bar or Bat Mitzvah year are not eligible for their own reserved seats in the JCC.
Our Youth Directors, in coordination with our Youth Committee, are planning fun and substantive programming for the large number of children in our community only at the Young Israel of Scarsdale main building. The JCC will only offer basic babysitting for nursery-aged children and there will be no other supervised programming or available space for children at the JCC. Please take that into consideration before registering for your tickets.
Please note that there are two separate online forms - one for JCC only and one for all services in the Young Israel of Scarsdale's main building (the Main Shul, Social Hall, Sephardic Minyan and the Untraditional Service). In the case of the JCC, where seats are reserved, seats will generally be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. Please be certain to fill out the proper form for the venue that you prefer. Members must be "in good standing" to receive their tickets.
Please click on one of the links below to register online:
We hope you will once again find
this online system easy to use. Should you choose, instead, to register using a paper form, please
to
print out the SHUL paper form to
to print out the JCC paper form and return it to the shul office.
Please do
NOT
register online and by paper -
please choose one or the other.
All High Holiday Ticket Request forms must be received by September 9, 2019 There will be a $25 processing fee for all tickets requested on or after September 10, 2019.

CSS is a strong team, but our Young Israel security team needs to grow to sustain our team strength. With each new team member, we reduce the number of shifts each volunteer must do during the year. We are talking about giving your community about 2 ½ hours of your time every 6- 8 weeks to help keep us all safe. For those looking to volunteer, CSS will be conducting a training course for new team members in the coming weeks. You are required to attend both Part A and Part B of the training. We are offering two class options for each level (you don't need to attend the classes at the same location). Please see details below on locations, days & times.
Level I Part A:
Tuesday night, September 3rd 7:00 PM-10:00 PM at YIS or Wednesday night September 4th 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM - The Young Israel of Stamford
69 Oaklawn Ave.
Stamford CT. Level I - Part B:
Tuesday night, September 10th 7:00 PM-10:00 PM at YIS or Wednesday night September 11th 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM - The Young Israel of Stamford
