Planning Calendar Delivery Delayed
We're just as anxious as you are to receive the 2019-2020 Presbyterian Planning Calendar. However, the PC(USA) Store has not shipped POJ's order yet. They are anticipating shipment in the first week of September. As soon as the calendars arrive, we will notify churches and individuals who ordered.
Recharge at the 2019 Women's Retreat
Women are invited to enjoy fellowship, faith, and food in the beautiful setting of Camp Hanover at the annual Women's Retreat. The event begins Friday, September 20, at 6 p.m. and ends Saturday at 5 p.m. The event cost of $60 per person includes lodging, three meals, and the program.
Small Church Gatherings Continue
On October 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., POJ invites leaders of small churches to a workshop and lunch on mission, ministry, and money. This event continues the learning, collaboration, and networking started with the small church forums sponsored by the Presbyterian Foundation. RSVP to Deborah Rexrode if you plan to join.
Youth Council Announces 2019-2020 Retreats
POJ’s Youth Council hosts quarterly retreats for middle and high school students at Camp Hanover each year. For 2019-2020, retreats will be in October, February, March, and April. Put these dates on your youth program calendar today and make plans to attend. Contact Colleen Earp for more information.

Massanetta Springs Announces Speakers for Annual SALT Conference

High school students through adults are invited to the 2019 SALT conference November 8-10. Focusing on discipleship and learning how to better live out our faith in the world, this year’s theme draws upon Luke 10:25-37, the story of the good Samaritan.
Train to Be a Refugee Accompanier

Presbyterian Peace Fellowship (PPF) invites you to help communities under threat in Colombia and on the U.S./Mexico border by serving as an international accompanier. Volunteering as an accompanier gives safety, encouragement, and support to displaced people and asylum seekers. Training is available October 11-14 in Montreat, North Carolina.
