June 5, 2020
Dear Saint Paul School Community & Friends,

Thank you to everyone that turned out to cheer on our Grade 8 students as they took their last (well hopefully not last) drive through our parking lot. The parade brought our school community together for the first time since March 16 and it was especially nice to be able to talk with students and parents in person.

Saint Paul School is fortunate to be able to offer  Summer Support Services  for all of our students with Ms. Amy Barnes. These services will be offered via ZOOM for 30-minute sessions and when “social distancing” protocols are released move towards in-person. Last night I received initial guidance from the DESE regarding summer school offerings and will review the guidelines this weekend. Each session will be $15.00. We will be following the student’s grade level curriculum map for each area of learning. For reading support we will be using the Orton Gillingham phonics curriculum. In math, we will focus on skills from the current school year.  Please use the following link to express your interest no later than June 12 . Parents that have already been in contact with Ms. Barnes do not have to complete this form.

Thank you for your continued patience and flexibility. Please reach out with questions and comments and I will respond either via email, videoconference or phone.

Sincerely,
Principal

PHYSICALS & IMMUNIZATIONS
for the 2020-2021 school year.

Doctor’s offices may not be open at this time for your child’s physical in which case we ask that you submit a copy of the most recent physical . Please send the physicals in for review no later than August 1.

New students need to submit a recent ( within 1 year)copy of a physical with immunization documentation.

Kindergarten students need to submit a recent physical with immunization documentation. Massachusetts also requires a lead screening test for school entry.

Grade 4 students need to submit a copy of a recent physical .

Grade 7 students need to submit documentation of a Tdap booster. Starting this year the MDPH requires a meningococcal vaccine. This vaccine protects against 4 types of bacteria that cause meningococcal disease and protects the child for 5 years. They will require a booster at 16 years old.

Thank you for your cooperation.
