Join Me in Supporting
The Texas Diaper Bank!
Friends,

During hard times, Texans have a history of banding together to get through. It is that spirit of community and brotherhood that sets us apart- that makes Texas exceptional!

As many Texans have found themselves with unforeseen financial struggles during these challenging times, a critical need has arisen across our state. The Texas Diaper Bank is in dire need of diaper donations to help struggling Texas families.

The biggest current needs are: Diapers sizes 3, 5, 6 ; Menstrual Pads (not liners or tampons); and Incontinence products. If you are willing to help support this critical effort, you can view their Amazon wishlist .

I encourage you to join me in supporting this critical effort. Together, we will get through this crisis!
God Bless,

Guidelines for Opening Up America Again
“All of American society is engaged and mobilized in the war against the invisible enemy. While we must remain vigilant, it is clear that our aggressive strategy is working.” – President Donald J. Trump

BEGINNING THE NEXT PHASE IN THE FIGHT

President Donald J. Trump is continuing the fight against the coronavirus by beginning to reopen the country in a smart and safe way. Thursday President Trump convened Members of Congress, to serve on the Opening Up America Again Congressional Group .

Most notably, President Trump unveiled Guidelines for Opening Up America Again , a three-phased approach based on the advice of public health experts. These steps will help state and local officials when reopening their economies, getting people back to work, and continuing to protect American lives.

  • The Trump Administration is issuing new guidelines to enable individual States to reopen in phases using a deliberate, data-driven approach.
  • Under these guidelines, States will reopen one step at a time, rather than all at once.
  • The guidelines will empower Governors to tailor the phased reopening to address the situation in their State.
  • Governors can begin phased openings at the Statewide or county-by-county level.
  • These guidelines were developed by the top medical experts from across the Government and are based on verifiable metrics regarding the situation on the ground.
  • The guidelines set clear benchmarks on new cases, testing, and hospital resources for States to meet to proceed toward a phased reopening.
  • Criteria include a downward trajectory in cases presenting coronavirus-like symptoms or a downward trajectory in positive tests.
  • The criteria also included hospitals having the resources to treat all patients without crisis care and a robust testing program for healthcare workers.

Thank you President Trump for Opening Up America Again!

"Opening Up America Again”
On Thursday, President Trump and the White House Coronavirus Task Force released guidelines for opening America.

Throughout the coronavirus pandemic, President Trump and the White House Coronavirus Task Force have led a bold, aggressive, and unprecedented whole of America approach to slow the spread. The administration’s actions began back in January and have tirelessly continued. There has been critical progress made in flattening the curve thanks to the commitment of the American people. It is now time to look at reopening our country and economy. On Thursday, President Trump and the White House Coronavirus Task Force released the road map to reopen our country. The “Opening Up America Again” plan is a three-phased approach that is based on the advice of public health experts and empowers our state and local officials.

The President’s thoughtful roadmap empowers states to tailor a reopening plan to fit the situation on the ground. This is a phased and deliberate strategy. All states are different and the effort to reopen our country is not a one-size-fits-all approach. Under this plan, Americans can safely return to work as conditions allow. The President’s plan continues to prioritize the health and safety of the American people, especially our seniors and most vulnerable. During remarks in the press briefing room, President Trump reiterated that we must continue common-sense practices including vigorous hygiene and teleworking when appropriate. We cannot reverse the important progress that has been made in defeating this silent enemy.
Americans continue to acknowledge that President Trump is fighting for them during these challenging times.

The Virtual Campaign Continues
While Joe Biden to deliver an uninspiring message, the RNC and Trump campaign continue to virtually train volunteers and engage voters.

While the nation manages the coronavirus outbreak, the Trump campaign and RNC are turning to their unprecedented virtual and digital campaign tools to ensure there is safe campaigning. The campaign and the RNC are virtually engaging volunteers. This is the first-time voter contact has been done purely remotely. The Trump campaign continues to offer online digital programming 7 days per week. Each broadcast has achieved over 1 million unique viewers. Cycle to date Trump Victory has surpassed 1 million volunteers and 17 million voter contacts. During the digital campaigning effort, we’ve trained thousands of volunteers and made millions of calls to voters across the country. The RNC, Trump campaign, and entities are well funded. The fundraising entities raised $212 million in the first quarter of 2020. The RNC and Trump committees raised more than $63 million in March alone. The cycle to date haul Is $677 million, $270 million more than the Obama re-elect. These resources are helping fund our data-driven ground effort. Prior to the coronavirus outbreak, we were well-positioned for success in November and even in these unprecedented times, we are not missing a beat. This effort is unmatched by Joe Biden’s campaign and the DNC.
