BASIS International Ltd releases BBj®, the Barista® Application Framework, and AddonSoftware® by Barista version 19.10 - a very significant non-major release of BBj.

Enhancements to the ClassLoader isolate BASIS's internal usage of third-party libraries. This provides the community with the ability to override BASIS's internal usage of a version of a class with a different version. Furthermore, the new ClassLoader now automatically downloads classes as needed by the client. This simplifies the setup and administration of the JNLPExePacker alternative to Java Web Start by obviating the need to explicitly include classes required by the application in the package.

With this release, the SSCP (Session Specific Classpath) functionality is expanded to include hierarchies. See the SSCP documentation for more information. For more details on possible effects on your application, read " Migrating to BBj 19.10".

This release also incorporates all customer requested fixes listed in the Fixes file and incorporates version 20.0 preview features.

Download 19.10 today and for additional details, refer to the readme, relnotes, and fixes files.
