#1 Pima County Pursuing Increased Impact Fee
Pima County Transportation (PCDOT) has initiated updating its Impact Fee Ordinance. This includes preparing the draft Land Use Assumptions report (LUA) and the draft Infrastructure Improvements Plan (IIP).

Next steps in the process will include gathering public input, public hearings and BOS approval of the LUA and IIP and the development and approval of the final Impact Fee rate. The County Administrator, in a memo to the Board of Supervisors, has indicated he anticipates the roadway impact fee to increase from $6,500 to $9,252.

There will be multiple opportunities for public input throughout the process with the initial stakeholder meeting scheduled for September 4th, 9am-12pm at 201 N Stone Ave. Basement conference room C.
#2 Help Ensure Marana Remains Regional Leader in New Home Construction

This document often serves as the initiation point for public policies that impact new home construction and land development. It is imperative that the Plan encourage growth and development and maintain Marana as a regional leader in new home construction. As such, industry members are strongly encouraged to review and provide comments prior to September 27 th . The draft document and feedback option can be found here .
