The World Trade Center hosted a summer edition of our Engage in Trade Speaker Series for members this afternoon. Cross-Cultural Myths, Miscommunications & Mistakes led by Larry Taylor of Aziotics, was a lively, entertaining and engaging look at a serious topic.

Among the key takeaways were the importance of observing, understanding why and taking action as the basis for cross-cultural understanding and the fact that you don't have to be from a different culture to have a cultural gap.
