  • Governor Brown Announces Plans for Face Covering Requirement, Outlines Next Steps in County Reopening Process.
  • Governor Brown issued Executive Order 20-28 related to the operation of higher education institutions during the Coronavirus pandemic. It is important that Oregon ensure higher education institutions can fulfill their missions while also protecting the health and well-being of their students, faculty, staff, administration, and broader communities.
  • Oregon reports 278 new confirmed and presumptive COVID-19 cases, 2 new deaths. COVID-19 has claimed two more lives in Oregon, raising the state’s death toll to 182, the Oregon Health Authority reported today. OHA also reported 278 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 6,098. Read more.

CCD Business Development Corporation | CCD was successful in receiving funds from the State of Oregon COVID-19 Emergency Business Assistance Program. The purpose of the program is to provide financial assistance to small businesses adversely affected by economic conditions associated with the COVID-19 pandemic that have not received federal emergency assistance under the federal CARES Act or other federal programs to date. The funds will be disbursed to eligible small businesses located in Coos, Curry, or Douglas Counties in the form of grants. The funds are intended to be equally accessible to all businesses including the historically disadvantaged population groups (Asian, Black, Hispanic, Native American, and Women Owned Businesses.) Oregon Health Authority | OHA has issued an invitation for funding opportunities to Community Based Organizations (CBOs). CBOs have the opportunity to support three areas of work as part of OHA’s COVID-19 response: 1) community engagement & education and outreach; 2) contact tracing; 3) social services and wraparound supports.
