Each Sunday first grade students will complete a weekly art project about a new Bible story to take home and keep in the binder.
Second Grade
The second grade curriculum provides greater detail about the Old Testament. Students begin their Jesse Tree wreath project. Each week they learn a different story from the Old Testament and create an ornament for their wreath based on the story.
Third Grade
The third grade curriculum provides greater detail about the New Testament. This week students personalize and decorate cloth book covers for the Bibles they receive during Chapel service.
Fourth and Fifth Grades
Fourth and fifth grade students are separated into boy and girl classrooms. Using the "Witness" curriculum, students continue to study the Old and New Testaments in a way that applies lessons directly to their lives. Additionally, all students participate in monthly outreach projects. This week students will bring home a binder of materials that supplements their Bible studies.
