Important Information Regarding End of Year Traditions
Dear Senior Parents and Guardians,

One special ceremony that seniors share with their mothers is the annual Senior/Mother Son Mass. There are many traditions that are a part of this mass that we hope to maintain.  Another final moment the class has together with their families is the Baccalaureate Mass, which precedes the graduation ceremony in St. Mary's Cathedral.

Campus Ministry will be combining these two masses and will celebrate the Parent/Son and Baccalaureate Prayer Service for the Class of 2020 and their families on Friday, May 29 at 5:30 p.m.  A link to the service will be sent out before the event, and it is our hope that all seniors and their families, including extended family in other homes, will digitally watch the prayer service together.

One specific tradition at our annual Mother/Son Mass is a heartwarming slideshow featuring photos of senior parents and their son. The first photo will be of your son when he was a baby or a toddler, and the second one will be a more current photo. If possible, we would like for mom, dad and your son to be in both of the photos. We hope to be able to feature ALL of our seniors from the Class of 2020 in the slide show.  Please see the instructions below:
  • Your digital photos should be in .jpg format and named as follows:
    • Lastname_Firstinitial_baby   (Example:  Jones_A_baby)
    • Lastname_Firstinitial_current  (Example: Jones_A_current)
  • To upload your photos, log in to www.serrahs.com/seniormass . Please follow the instructions regarding picture format and file size.
  • Submit your photos no later than Tuesday, May 12 so that we have enough time to create this special offering for you and your son.
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Director of Liturgy  Zach Lantz.

Additional information about other graduation events will come Monday.

Thank you,

Billy Byrnes
