President Elect
Richard C. Brundage, PharmD, PhD, FCP

Dr. Brundage has been an ACCP Member since 2007 and became a Fellow in 2016. He was elected to ACCP's Board of Regents in 2018 and currently chairs the Credentials Committee. Dr. Brundage was an active member of the 2019 ACCP Annual Meeting Program Committee and in 2016 was the recipient of the ACCP Bristol-Myers Squibb Mentorship in Clinical Pharmacology Award.

Dr. Brundage is a Professor in the Dept of Experimental & Clinical Pharmacology at the Univ of Minnesota, Coll of Pharmacy and has been teaching Applied Pharmacokinetics in the professional program and Pharmacometrics & Population Pharmacokinetics in the graduate program since 2002. His research interests involve the quantitative modeling of pharmacological systems for the purpose of better understanding dose-response relationships. These pharmacometric analyses have been applied to infectious disease, epilepsy, cardiovascular and transplantation areas. One of the therapeutic areas of particular interest involves improving the treatment of children diagnosed with congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH). A current initiative is to evaluate the pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic relationships among cortisol, 17-hydroxyprogesterone and androstenedione in conjunction with a pulsatile subcutaneous hydrocortisone therapy using a pump in pediatric patients with CAH. Dr. Brundage has received a Meritorious Manuscript Award from AAPS; the Award for Outstanding Contributions to Graduate and Professional Education from the Univ of Minnesota; the Outstanding Adviser Award from the Graduate & Professional Student Association and was inducted in the inaugural cohort of Fellows in the Int'l Society of Pharmacometrics. He was a founding Board of Directors member of the Int'l Society of Pharmacometrics.
Secretary
Oliver Grundmann, PhD, FCP

In 2006, Dr. Grundmann joined ACCP as a Student Member and became a Member in 2007 and a Fellow in 2016. He was elected to the ACCP Board of Regents in 2020 and has been a member of the Student, Trainee & Early-stage Professional (STEP) Committee since 2014 which he currently co-chairs. During his tenure on the STEP Committee, Dr. Grundmann has supported and worked to execute a number of changes that support young colleagues and encourage early-stage professionals to engage further with ACCP to both their benefit and the benefit of ACCP.

Dr. Grundmann obtained his BPharm from the Westfälische-Wilhelms-Univ in Münster in 2004 before being offered to continue his graduate studies in Pharmaceutical Sciences as a Gator at the Univ of Florida (UF). While completing his PhD he satisfied his curiosity in the area of Forensic Toxicology by obtaining a MSc with a minor in Statistics. His postdoctoral work in the area of radiation biology and salivary gland damage brought him to the Univ of Arizona in Tucson. However, his passion for teaching and research on natural products with CNS activity ultimately led him back to his Alma mater at UF where he is now Clinical Associate Professor & Director, Medicinal Chemistry, Coll of Pharmacy. Dr. Grundmann is fortunate to collaborate with many great minds both on the national and international level in the pre-clinical and clinical stages to investigate the pharmacology, phytochemistry and epidemiology of natural products such as Kratom and Iberogast.
