• The Protect Black Lives Protest has been organized by Providence youth - see Facebook Group - and  is not a TAPA-sponsored event. 
• It is each student and family’s individual decision whether to participate; TAPA students are encouraged to discuss their personal safety concerns with their families in advance and make an informed decision about whether or not to attend.
• Members of the TAPA staff are attending in a supportive/designated observer role, and will do our best to support anyone who does choose to attend, however, as with any protest there are always inherent risks and unknown factors.

• Members of the TAPA staff will gather at Central High School starting at 3:30pm and ask all participating TAPA students to meet us there. The event organizers will gather at 4:30pm.
• TAPA staff members will only be present at this event between 3:30 - 7pm.  We strongly encourage students to go home by or before 7pm.

• Mr. Mike, Mr. Sands, Mr. Gore, Ms. Assi and Ms. Nadeau will attend and march with students
• They will have masks, gloves, eye protection, hand sanitizer, water, and a first aid kit.
• All those attending should wear a mask that covers their nose and mouth, a hat or head covering, and  bring a water bottle, a fully charged cell phone, a written list of emergency numbers, and some form of ID. We recommend that you wear eye protection if you have it, and do not wear contact lenses. The event organizers have requested that those participating wear black; please be mindful that it will be a hot day.
• Mr. Javier will be stationed at TAPA from 3:30 - 5:30 and a hired security guard will be present 5:30pm - 6:00am. The TAPA building is not open for general drop-in, but will be opened as a safe space if needed by student protesters or members of the TAPA Ensemble.

• There will be a TAPA Virtual Protest Space to show support with other TAPA community members hosted by Mr. Lim, Ms. Minuto, Ms. Bryant, and Ms. Goreteya from 4-6pm.  The event will likely be live-streamed and we can watch together: Link to Google Meet Attached Here 

• La Manifestación por la Protección de Vidas Afroamericanas ha sido organizada por jóvenes de Providence - vea el Grupo de Facebook -  y  no es un evento patrocinado por TAPA.
• Es la decisión individual de cada estudiante y familia de participar; Se exhorta a los estudiantes de TAPA a discutir sus preocupaciones de seguridad personal con sus familias con anticipación y tomar una decisión informada sobre si asistir o no.
• Los miembros del personal de TAPA asistirán en un papel de observador designado y harán todo lo posible para apoyar a cualquiera que elija asistir, sin embargo, como con cualquier manifestación, siempre hay riesgos inherentes y factores desconocidos.

• Tendrán máscaras, guantes, protección para los ojos, desinfectante para manos, agua y un botiquín de primeros auxilios.
• Todos los asistentes deben usar una máscara que les cubra la nariz y la boca, una gorra/sombrero o algo que cubra la cabeza y llevar una botella de agua, un teléfono celular completamente cargado, una lista escrita de números de emergencia y algún tipo de identificación. Recomendamos que use protección para los ojos si la tiene, y no use lentes de contacto. Los organizadores del evento han solicitado que los participantes usen ropa negra; tenga en cuenta que será un día caluroso.
• Mr. Javier estará estacionado en TAPA de 3:30 - 5:30pm y un guardia de seguridad contratado estará presente de 5:30pm - 6:00am. El edificio TAPA no está abierto para la entrada general, pero se abrirá como un espacio seguro si es necesario para los manifestantes estudiantiles o los miembros del Conjunto TAPA.

• TAPA brindará un Espacio Virtual organizado por Mr. Lim, Nurse Minuto, Ms. Bryant y Ms. Goreteya de 4 - 6pm para que los estudiantes junto a otros miembros de la comunidad de TAPA puedan mostrar su apoyo a la manifestación.
