This year’s theme, Preventing Homelessness , examines the various ways that those working in the public, community and private sectors can collaborate more effectively to prevent homelessness in South Australia.

Thinkers in Residence visit - Dr Nonie Brennan

Dr Nonie Brennan will be visiting Adelaide in November as our next Thinker in Residence.

Over the last 15 years, Dr Brennan has served as the Chief Executive Officer of All Chica go Making Homelessness History. Impressively, Dr Brennan has led an overall reduction in the number of people experiencing homelessness in Chicago by over 20%.

The Funding Network Adelaide's Inaugural Event

The Funding Network   is partnering with the Don Dunstan Foundation to host their first ever Adelaide event!

Call for applications are now open. We are looking for innovative, grassroots social change initiatives that support the Adelaide Zero Project’s By-Name List. Initiatives need to be helping people who are currently experiencing, at risk of, or on their journey out of homelessness. Submit your application here!

The event will be an inspiring night of storytelling, raising vital funds, and will ultimately focus on ending homelessness through the Adelaide Zero Project.

Shout out to Metta Sol Cafe

Metta Sol, a café in Goodwood, recently hosted their first ever 'Super Sol Sunday' event on Sunday 21 July. It was a fantastic day that raised awareness of homelessness, with great music, food and dancing. All funds raised were donated to the Adelaide Zero Project.

Big Change

We decided to defer our Big Change, The Purpose Economy Conference until 2020, giving us the opportunity to line it up with other exciting events occurring in South Australia.

A new date will be announced as soon as we are able. We look forward to seeing you at our bigger, better Big Change in 2020!

SA Social Enterprise World Forum 2019 Bursary Fund Applications
The South Australian Social Enterprise World Forum 2019 Bursary Fund is looking to sponsor a current or future Australian social enterprise leader. Someone who is focused on health outcomes could attend the Social Enterprise World Forum 2019, in October in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Applications close 31 July 2019.
