In observance of Labor Day, the library will be closed on the following days:

Fall Hours will begin on Tuesday, September 3. Fall hours are as follows:
Monday-Thursday 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Friday-Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday 2 to 5 p.m.

Fall Story Times
Under Two Story Time
Tuesdays,
9:30 to 10:15 a.m.

Children up to 23 months old and their grown-ups are invited to rhyme, bounce, and read with other little ones and their caregivers.
Tremendous Twos Story Time
Tuesdays, 11 to 11:45 a.m.
September 17 & 24
Children 24 to 36 months old and their grown-ups are invited to enjoy stories, songs, finger play, and more to foster a love of books and early language development.
Preschool Story Time
September 19 & 26
Children ages 3 to 7 are invited for an interactive story time with picture books, music and movement followed by a craft.
No registration is required.

Family Movie
Friday, September 20
7 to 9 p.m.
Aladdin is a lovable street urchin who meets Princess Jasmine, the beautiful daughter of the sultan of Agrabah. While visiting her exotic palace, Aladdin stumbles upon a magic oil lamp that unleashes a powerful, wisecracking, larger-than-life genie. As Aladdin and the genie start to become friends, they must soon embark on a dangerous mission to stop the evil sorcerer Jafar from overthrowing young Jasmine's kingdom.
One adult must remain at the library with each family group for the duration of the program. Library is closed for other services.

Apply to be a Junior Volunteer
Applications due:
Monday, Sept. 16 at 4 p.m.
During the school year we have space for 12 volunteers per week, Monday through Saturday.
The initial commitment is for October, November, and December with the option to continue for additional three month sessions. Students work for one hour after school. The hour must be completed 30 minutes before the library closes, Monday through Saturday.
Students in grades 6, 7, or 8 may apply to be Student Volunteers in the Children's Department.
Forms are available at the desk in the children's department. The volunteers should know their availability before submitting the form.
The drawing will take place on Monday, September 16th. Two names will be drawn for each of the 6 days. Volunteers will be notified that evening.

Make a 15 minute appointment to read aloud to Molly, a super cute Labradoodle and good listener.
*Preregistration is required.

Family Games

The library's collection of games is at the disposal of library users ages 6 to 12 and their families.
