2018-2019 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid):

The UWO Financial Aid Office is beginning to process FAFSAs for 2018-2019. You may have already noticed items on your student's "to do" list on Titan Web.

Requested items have an automatic two week due date, but we will accept documents after that date. However, we cannot award your student financial aid without all the documentation we have requested.

We anticipate awards will be sent out in late January 2018. The awards will appear on your student's Titan Web under the "view financial aid" link.

The IRS Data Retrieval Tool (DRT) is working for 2018-2019. If you are selected for verification for 2018-2019 you will either need to use the DRT or provide the federal tax return transcript to the financial aid office along with other documents requested. The IRS tax return transcript is available online.

When ordering make sure to select Tax Return Transcript, not the Tax Account Transcript.

We are available for walk-in sessions, Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Apply for 2018-2019 scholarships!

The UW Oshkosh scholarship cycle opened Nov. 8, 2017.

Academic Works features a streamlined application process that makes it easy for your student to find and apply for scholarships. The system will recommend scholarships they may be eligible for, based on their student record.

Apply today for 2018-2019 scholarships!  Application deadline Dec. 10, 2017.

If your student is graduating in the current academic year, there are some scholarships/awards they may be eligible to apply for! They can login to fill out a general application and see which opportunities may be recommended for them.

If your student applied for scholarships in Academic Works in Fall 2016, they will need to fill out a new general application and upload an updated STAR.

If your student has questions regarding specific scholarships or Academic Works, please email [email protected].

Student Recreation Supports Wellness

Student Health Center

If your student is planning to travel out of the country, please have them contact the Student Health Center at least four to six weeks prior to their planned travel date. Safety precautions and health recommendations will be reviewed with them. For health recommendations specific to the country they are traveling to, visit the Travel Health page of the CDC website and click on destinations.

Check out the Student Advocate. This web-based health and wellness magazine provides insights and tips on how to support your student's success.

For those living in the residence halls, encourage your student to find and meet their Health Advocate. The Health Advocate can provide first aid supplies, over-the-counter medications, as well as connect them with important university resources and support.

For commuter students, we encourage scheduling an appointment at the Student Health Center, where we will connect them with all of the resources they need. There is no charge for an appointment.
Meal Plans

Please note that your student's meal plan will work throughout the January Interim. Any unused Titan Dollars from the fall/January interim will carry over to spring semester. All students will be loaded with their spring 2018 meal plan prior to the start of spring semester.

If your student is interested in changing their meal plan for spring 2018, they can email [email protected] from their UWO email account with their name and eligible meal plan choice. Their student billing is their change confirmation. The deadline to make this change for spring 2018 is Thursday, Feb. 8 at 2 p.m.

Dining hours of operations over January Interim can be found at reeve.uwosh.edu/hours.
