George McLeary entered into glory peacefully on June 4 in the company of his wife, Donna, and with the knowledge that he would find rest with Jesus Christ. 

He was born on December 13, 1949 in Burbank, California. After attending Los Angeles City College, he completed his degree in Humanities at College of the Canyons. Pastor George graduated from Pacific Lutheran Theological Seminary in 2004, and was ordained the same year at The Church of Hope in Canyon Country, where he served until his passing. During his tenure at The Church of Hope, before and after his ordination, he was involved in the music program and helped develop their food pantry - the only full-time food pantry in Santa Clarita.
