WPL Service Update
Dear Library Friends and Patrons,

With each day we are closer to a time that we will be able to return to activities that we miss. In the meantime, WPL will host virtual programs and are planning a combination of virtual and in-person activities for summer reading enjoyment and enrichment.

  • All due dates that occur during the closing for COVID-19 have been extended until July 16th
  • WPL does not charge late fees for overdue materials while the libraries are closed.
  • Book drops are open in the Fords, Henry Inman and Iselin Branch libraries should you wish to make sure the books are returned. We are checking books in now and will be contacting library patrons who had books on hold when the libraries were closed to the public.
  • Phone services and curbside pickup are planned to begin in June.
  • Librarians continue to staff a Chat Information service from 9-5, Monday through Friday.
  • Library staff members are monitoring the Ask-A-Librarian e-mail service to update library cards and assist with digital resources.
  • Library staff members are creating and sharing positive, informational, educational social media posts. If you don't follow us yet, this would be a great time to like us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
  • If your card was due to expire between now and August, it has been automatically renewed to encourage you to use online services that require a library card number.

Please do not hesitate to click HERE to fill out a survey to let us know if we have been able to provide you with library services while the buildings were closed, and let us know what we can do better for the Township of Woodbridge.

On behalf of the Woodbridge Public Library Board and Library Staff, I wish you health and safety, and look forward to seeing everyone at our libraries again soon.

Stay well,

Monica Eppinger
