Pentecost Offering
Take a minute to look back on your life and consider who you have lived with. Family? Extended family? Strangers? Alone?

God's vision for the world is that everyone find a place, a home within his kingdom. Pentecost is the celebration of God's pouring out of the Holy Spirit so that people of every identity and language can hear a word of welcome into God's household. All belong in God's household, and we get to live, learn, and celebrate together.

At Pentecost, we look especially to the children, youth and young adults with whom God has called us to live. God's youngest family members need support to build their full potential in both faith and life, and all of us have a role to play. Often, these young ones show and teach all of us much about faith in Jesus Christ and how the Holy Spirit is moving in our world.

The Pentecost Offering supports the development of children, youth and young adults. Forty percent of this offering stays within our community - this year Parkway's portion will be used to support John Knox Ranch and the many programs and opportunities it provides to youth. The remainder of the offering will be sent on to the larger church so that young adults can lay a foundation for their lives through a year of service as part of the Young Adult Volunteer Program. Youth may experience worship and formation at the Presbyterian Youth Triennium, and children may benefit from the Educate a Child, Transform the World national initiative. Please prayerfully consider your gift on Pentecost, May 31.

Click here to give now using Realm.  There is also a  Text to Give option. Just text Parkwaypc to 73256 and hit the send button.  You will be sent a link. You can always send a check to Parkway, write Pentecost Offering in the memo line.

Pentecost Cross
Pentecost is May 31 and to celebrate in a different way we will set out our cross and cover it with greens, red fabric ties and prayer requests.  During the afternoon of May 31, you are encouraged to stop by the church, tie a piece of red fabric on the cross, and if you wish, to write a prayer and tie it to the cross also.  There will be a box at the foot of the cross containing pens, red prayer tags and red cloth ties.  Please plan to come, take pictures of your family in front of the cross and send them to Cheryl in the office.

From Our Partner in Guatemala
Parkway has decided that during the month of May, we are encouraging your donations for our mission partner, Tree 4 Hope. Our Mission Teams have taken underwear, socks, and shoes to the children in the past. The Teams have also purchased needed materials when they were on the ground. This year, we want to continue our support for the orphanage, Hope Academy, and the Tree 4 Hope food distributions. Please mark any donations "Guatemala," and we will forward the funds to Tree 4 Hope.

Sunday Worship Online
As we continue to navigate these days, Parkway will
have online worship every week at 11:00 AM online using Facebook. Just follow this link and tune in with us at 11:00 AM or watch the recording later. If you have trouble finding the livestream once you get to the Facebook page, try refreshing your page or restarting your app. Also, online giving is available for pledge-giving, non-pledge giving, and other special funds.  Online giving is found here. We are looking forward to worshiping as the gathered community even as we stay home. Look forward to seeing you online!

Church Office Hours
During this time when most of the church activities are suspended, the church building will be locked but Cheryl and Ben will be here working. Allen and Laura will be working from home per "The President's Corona Virus Guidelines." Allen and Laura can be reached by calling the church office and having Cheryl transfer the call to the appropriate person. The office will be open regular hours, Monday through Thursday from 9:00-1:00 and Friday from 9:00-12:00.

Attention all text donors!
