Plus Portals Information Regarding Assignments
|
As assignments have begun to be posted and grades are starting to be displayed, a number of questions have arisen in regards to the Rediker parent and student portals. it is necessary to clarify some items. The Assignments section provides a list of the assignments and due dates. This is simply a running list and does not indicate whether an assignment has been completed or not. An assignment could be shown as past due but be completed and just not graded which has caused some confusion and concern. The most effective way to determine which assignments are due, which ones are completed or which ones may be missing and the all of the factors calculated into a student's grade, is from the initial Overview screen. This can be found in the Progress section by clicking on the student's average. This will bring you to a Performance page that outlines all of the assignments, what has been completed, what factors into the grade and what is missing. If you have specific questions about any assignment or grade - email the teacher directly. Like with all new things, we will experience a learning curve as well as some growing pains. Thank you for your continued patience through this process.

SportsLeader Virtue of the Week
|
One pillar of the SportsLeader program is a weekly virtue that we incorporate into our athletic practices and throughout our school community. Every week, we will share them here to encourage the students to take the virtue into their homes as well!
This week our virtue theme is TEMPERANCE - The strength to control the desire for pleasure.
TEMPERANCE is so necessary for much of life. We need TEMPERANCE on this team, in school, in our relationships if we really want to succeed in doing the difficult things necessary to win.
