Volunteers Needed!

Copper Creek is an AMAZING COMMUNITY SCHOOL with lots of wonderful volunteers that make it such a special place! We need your help to continue doing all the fabulous things we do! You don't need to commit to hours a week...just an hour or two a year! 

 

There will be sign up sheets for volunteer opportunities at Meet the Teacher on Wednesday!

Good Evening Families,
 
It was great to see so many faces at the Movie Night!  I am grateful for such a supportive community and it is wonderful to see our families have a chance to connect.
 
We have Hawk Walk on Friday!  Our goal is to have 100% participation, even if it's a $1.  The funds we raise in Hawk Walk allow us to do innovative, forward-thinking things with our students.
 
CREATE Time was a huge success Monday.  Hopefully your students are looking forward to Monday morning and getting to school on time.  Teachers are really excited about what they have planned for tomorrow.

DONATION ENVELOPES ARE DUE BY 9AM THURSDAY TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE MESSY ZONE 
Envelopes turned in Friday morning will still be eligible for raffle prizes.
 
Please look for additional details regarding Hawk Walk in the letter/donation collection envelopes that came home on August 13.

If you are able to volunteer the day of the event, please email Kim Evans at [email protected].  We are looking for people to decorate the course at 7:15am, stand with our mascots starting at 8:15am, and clean up after the event.

YOU DECIDE!
From Monday - Wednesday, buckets for each teacher listed above will be on the north playground before school and in the cafeteria during lunch and Thursday morning only on the playground. Put pennies in the bucket of the person you WANT to see in the Messy Zone and silver and paper money in the person you DON'T want in the messy zone. Pennies will be added up, and silver and paper money will be deducted from the total. The person with the most money left in their bucket on Thursday will go to the Messy Zone on Friday!
