Around the Chapter:
Y our delegates are looking for position statements!

Our delegates are currently developing a position statement for the AMTA stating that massage therapy brings hope for those in chronic pain. It is posited that much of the anxiety and despair of chronic pain is that there appears to be no hope for improvement, and that massage therapy changes that feeling, replacing it with hope and relief.

They are asking for therapists to share their experiences of their clients (confidentially) indicating that they have renewed hope for recovery/improvement of symptoms, and also research or reports that support this, and other benefits.

If you would be interested in helping to develop this or other position statements, please email our delegates at   [email protected].

Do you have or need a room for rent? Equipment to sell? Place your classified ad in our newsletter! Cost is $15 per month or per newsletter. Please contact Shelly at [email protected] for more info.

Thank you for allowing us to serve our very valued Colorado members!
