Late Summer Market Trends In Deschutes County

Throughout Deschutes County, there is a historically small inventory of homes for sale, but different areas have slightly different numbers. May through July of this year figures showed ~8% fewer homes for sale in Three Rivers South and Bend, while Sunriver saw an almost 11% increase in inventory over the same period in 2018. Sold properties were down 2.1% in Bend, and -13.8% in Sunriver. Pending homes for the same time were -8% in Sunriver, +8.4% in Bend/Tumalo, and Three Rivers South showed a whopping 16.1% increase over May through July 2018! Many homes that have been on the market throughout the summer are being marked down in price, making it a great time to start lining up your slice of Bend.
