Boys & Girls Club of the Siskiyous E-Newsletter

2017
Dear Parents and Guardians of the Boys & Girls Club of the Siskiyous:
                                                                                                                           Greeting families!

I hope everyone is staying warm and healthy as our weather gets colder.

The kids have been having so much fun at the Club engaging in healthy activities like playing sports and Tae-kwon-do, doing art projects, working on homework, and gardening.  We are happy to see many new Members joining in the last couple weeks.  We still have openings, so feel free to invite your friends to  sign-up.

On Wednesday, November 22nd at 2 p.m. we will be having a Thanksgiving feast with the kids at the Club.  We will be cooking a turkey, and we have been inviting families to bring a side dish.  Please remember that the Club is a peanut-free environment.   We will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and the day after.

On Friday, November 24th, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Siskiyous will be participating in the Hometown Holiday Light Parade.  The Parade takes place through downtown Mount Shasta City at 6 p.m.  Kids that would like to be part of the parade should meet at 5 p.m. in front of Lai Lai's. Please dress warm and be ready to have some festive holiday fun!

Thank you all and have a Happy Holiday!!

Sincerely,
Rami White,  Program Director and our dedicated Staff
