WEEKLY WRAP UP for Friday, August 16, 2019
A message from your Chamber

We are already working on next year's Taylor Visitor Guide and Chamber Directory!
This year, the Chamber is taking on the mammoth task of advertising sales and production for this IMPORTANT piece of information.
If you don't already know, more than 2000 copies of the Visitor Guide and Chamber Directory are distributed every year. It is...
  • mailed to Texas travel information centers in Amarillo, Anthony, Austin, Denison, Gainesville, Langtry, Laredo, Orange, Harlingen, Texarkana, Waskom and Wichita Falls
  • distributed at the Chamber to visitors and callers who want to know more about Taylor
  • displayed on the Chamber's website so people can learn about Taylor without a paper copy
  • stocked at local hotels, event venues, restaurants and coffee houses
  • given to Taylor home seekers by area real estate agents
It is THE printed public outreach item for our community! Help us, help your business AND help visitors and newcomers by purchasing an ad in this annual guide. All advertisers must be members of the Taylor Chamber of Commerce for 2020.
The deadline to be included is Nov. 22 but you'll want to  order early (by Oct. 15) to take advantage of early bird prices!
Click here to learn more and if you have questions, give us a call at 512-352-6364 or email us at info@taylorchamber.org.

Why showcase your business at the Expo?
You don't get many opportunities to market DIRECTLY TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS!
The world has been radically changed by the advent of electronic communication. Email, websites,
social media, blogs, and even "old" tech like cell phones, allow us to serve more customers than ever before.
    That's the good news.
The challenge is that people buy from people they "like" and people they "trust". "Like" and "trust" can be maintained electronically, but customers need face-to-face contact to really get to "like" and "trust." This is one of the reasons that face-to-face marketing is still the number one
marketing medium.
And that's where marketing at the Chamber's East WilCo Expo and Job Fair comes in. It is essentially face-to-face marketing to more than 1000 people for just 21 to 26 CENTS per customer, it's the best marketing opportunity around.
We are still accepting booths for the East Wilco EXPO & JO B FAIR scheduled for 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14.
You should plan to be there!  Registration is $210 for Chamber members and $260 for non-members. To take advantage of this price, registration and payment must be received by 5 p.m. Sept. 4.
Other sponsors include platinum sponsors, Sirloin Stockade and Taylor Press; gold sponsor, Baylor Scott and White and silver sponsor, the Williamson County Republican Party.   Sponsorships offer prime booth locations, extra promotion and advertising and they are still available.
Learn how to be a   sponsor or how to get in before the Sept. 4 deadline and secure your place in this wild adventure today! You can get more information  here or by calling us at 512-352-6364.
