"I Guess I'm Selfish"
by Joel Fether, City Life East

        "Joel, I'm not coming today."
        "Why?"
"Because I'm going to a birthday party."
"Pete already bought the tickets!  You can't back out four hours before we leave just because you'd rather do something else!  That is super selfish man!"
        "I guess I'm selfish then."
"What are we supposed to do with the extra tickets?!  It's not like we can take them back!"
This was a conversation that I had via text message with Juan about a month ago regarding him backing out of attending a sporting event.  As you can see, I was not pleased with some of his choices and felt the need to be direct with him.  CLICK HERE FOR MORE

A Unique and Exciting Giving Opportunity

The Big Give Is Back!
This unique giving opportunity allows every gift made to COYFC or GRACEHAVEN during the 26-hour giving rally to be automatically increased.

How Does It Work?
The Columbus Foundation has made available a bonus pool of $1.3 million to organizations who are registered in their online data base called "The Giving Store." Central Ohio Youth for Christ and Gracehaven are both registered, and we are excited to partner once again with The Columbus Foundation in this event.

You Can Make a Gift in Three Easy Steps:
1) Between 10 a.m. on October 10 and 12 p.m. on October 11 go to www.columbusfoundation.org/the-giving-store.

2) Type in CENTRAL OHIO YOUTH FOR CHRIST or GRACEHAVEN in the search box.

3) Click the GIVE button to make a gift, and follow the directions.

Credit card fees are covered, so 100% of every gift goes to COYFC or GRACEHAVEN.
