Gabe the Llama!

We would like to extend a big thank you to Ryan Reeser of the family-operated farm, Reeser's Farm in Moore Township, for rescuing this gentle giant, providing him with a loving home, and coordinating his visits to the library!
Gabe the Llama made a few appearances at our outdoor summer story times, much to the delight for children and adults alike!

Keep an eye out for more visits!
Nazareth Day
Thank You to Everyone Who Helped Us Celebrate
Nazareth Day!

On Saturday, July 20, we welcomed visitors to the library for a fun-filled day!

From Princesses Cinderella & Belle to an outdoor inflatable obstacle course to Escape Room Experiences, we had something for everyone (including air conditioning, water, and popcorn!). With the Nazareth Day shuttle making a stop at the library, it was an easy & relaxing stop for many!  We would like to thank the Nazareth Business Council for coordinating the shuttle stop at the library on this very warm day!

(And, due to the overwhelming popularity of the Escape Room Experience, we will be holding more experiences in the coming months! Stay in touch for details!)

Be sure to add us to your Nazareth Day celebrations in 2020!
Valiant Veterans
We'd like to thank Google and the American Library Association for providing us with the opportunity to present a day-long event for our local heroes.

On Friday, July 26th, we held Valiant Veterans; this event provided local veterans with programs, workshops, one-on-one assistance with technology and resume/job search support, and a time to connect with one another (with a service dog!).
This productive day concluded with a moving flag ceremony and a presentation of stars to our veterans.

We would like to thank Susan Kirk, of Bushkill Township for representing Stars for Troops, Inc. at this program.
