You don't have to wait until October 22 to cast your vote. You can find advance voting locations, dates and times on your voter card or on the
Oakville Election
website.
To vote in the Oakville municipal election you must be:
- a Canadian citizen;
- at least 18 years old on voting day;
- a resident, or owner or tenant of land in Oakville, or the spouse of such owner or tenant; and
- not prohibited from voting by law
When you go to vote, bring one acceptable piece of identification that has your name and qualifying address on it in order to receive a ballot. Eligible voters are also encouraged to bring along their voter card to avoid delays.
