Mayor's Monthly Bike Ride
August 6 at 6:30 p.m.
We are gearing up for the August 2019 monthly bike ride! Join Mayor Oscar Trevino on Tuesday, August 6 at 6:30 p.m. rolling through the NRH Community on the monthly ‘Round the Town with Oscar bike rides. Grab your helmet and join us for this a family friendly ride open to all ages. It is a great opportunity to get outdoors, meet new people, be active and ride through NRH. The August ride will begin and end at the NRH Centre, 6000 Hawk Avenue .

Mayor's Monthly 1 Mile Walk
August 8 at 6:15 p.m.
Join the Mayor on his monthly 1 mile walk on  Thursday, August 8 at 6:15 p.m.  This leisurely walk will begin and end this month at  Richfield Park, 7300 Chapman Rd .   Each month, the 1 mile walks will wind their way through our beautiful trails, parks and neighborhoods!
Don't forget Early Bird Registration is still going on for the 2019 NRH Road Runner 5K Run/1 mile Walk to be held on Saturday, October 5 !

The 2019 NRH Road Runner 5K will benefit Children's Literacy through the North Richland Hills Library , the NRH Community Enrichment Center , and H.E.L.P Inc. , a non-profit organization that helps orphans in Nigeria.

The NRH Road Runner 5K Run/Walk is a timed event that begins at Green Valley Park and winds through the beautiful John Barfield and Calloway Branch Trails. Cash prizes will be awarded for Overall 1st, 2nd and 3rd place Male and Female and Overall Masters Male and Female (50+). Awards presented three deep in each age group for the 5k Run.

Registration includes:
-Official Road Runner race shirt
-Drawstring Backpack
-Custom Road Runner 5k finisher medal
-Ribbons for 1k participants
-Lots of great swag
