Join Other UUs in Getting Out The Vote this Fall: Voter suppression campaigns aimed at people of color, youth, and naturalized citizens are undermining our communities and our democracy. One federal court put it plainly, writing that a North Carolina voting law was an unconstitutional effort to "target African-Americans with almost surgical precision." To combat these shameful attacks, Unitarian Universalists for Social Justice and the All Souls Church Reeb Project for Voting Rights have teamed up on a series of events this fall to increase voter participation in states including Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida. Through partnerships with grassroots organizations, we'll be doing in-person canvassing and phone banking to build a sense of power and community. Visit the   Fall 2018 GOTV Calendar to get involved.
