A Message form the Music Director to all SDYS Musicians and Families

Dear SDYS Musicians and Families,

I hope that you are all doing well, are safe, and comfortable at home.  Thank you to all of the many musicians and parents who participated in our Zoom meetings for all SDYS ensembles on Saturday, 3/28 and Sunday, 3/29. It was so wonderful to see all of you and for all of you to be able to connect with your conductors and to share time together. Please know that we at SDYS are all here for you each day and we will continue to provide you ways to connect with your friends, your ensembles and Families in meaningful and impactful ways during this time while you are at home.  We are thinking of you every day and we care about you very much!
Please make sure to attend our upcoming Zoom meetings and sessions for all ensembles this weekend on Saturday April 4th and Sunday April 5th. Details for the Zoom meetings are also included in the Weekly Update today.

As a special part of my message this week here is a beautiful video which you can enjoy by World renowned Cellist Yo Yo Ma performing the music of Bach with images from around the world.
