What to do if your child is not scheduled for 10/31

If your child is not normally scheduled for a Wednesday or if your child is an AM only student on 10/31, you may adjust his/her schedule in the following ways:

1. All-day students may switch a day for Wednesday (if space permits)

2. Attend parade and party only -with accompanying adult

3. For those already scheduled on Wednesday AM- attend full day for $15

(if space permits)

4. Add the full day for $25 (if space permits)

*For all changes, contact teacher first to see if space permits the change.

Halloween Parade and Parties Safety

Our school parade and parties will be held on Oct. 31st. The parade take place in the gym at 1:45 PM. Spectators may sit in the bleachers and line the walls as students walk the perimeter of the gym. The parade will then proceed to the classrooms. Although it is wonderful to have so many people interested in coming to classroom parties and the parade,due to classroom space and for the safety of all students, please limit guests to no more than 2 per student. If you wish to participate in a family event where all are welcome, please come to our Trunk or Treat on 10/13.

All guests who are IN THE CLASSROOM for the party MUST sign a Non-guilty/Non-conviction form found in the office and outside of all classroom. To avoid chaos on 10/31, please complete this PRIOR to the event. If you are volunteering in the classroom (running games, setting up, leading crafts in a room separate from a teacher) you MUST complete VIRTUS and have a background check.

ALL who are in the school building MUST sign in. Please expect lines and a wait to get into the building. Send costumes with student and have teacher assist instead of coming early to assist your child.

School Cancellations and Delays

1. Look for "Washington Local" delays or closings on the news or via news station alerts.

2. Sign up for Remind to have alerts sent to you via text or email about delays/closings, event reminders like picture day, field trips, special activities etc.

* Remind will also be used to notify you if there is an emergency or concern that you need to be made aware of immediately.

Picture Day

Please note the change in picture day. Pictures will be on Oct. 29th & 30th. Picture day is assigned by classroom**.

Oct. 29- Ms. Jeanette, Ms. Lexie*, Mrs. L*, Ms. Erin*

Oct 30- Ms. Mary*, Ms. Ashley*, Ms. Lori*

*If your child is in one of these classes and attends only on the opposite picture day, he/she will be photographed on the day of attendance.

**If your child does not attend either picture day, please contact the office for details.

Please contact the office if you are interested in setting up a Procare account. This account will allow you to view and print invoices, make payments, update contact information and print tax documents.

This system works with Tuition Express for automatically deducted payments for those who wish to use this service.
