Please join us for Dedication Sunday where we will commit our time, talent, and treasure for the coming year as well as re-dedicate our worship space through special liturgy and music offered by the Sanctuary Choir and on the organ by Jacquie Yost. This will be a joyful Sunday to give thanks for the many good gifts that God has given us, and all are inviting to share in the joy of giving as we dedicate our gifts to God. After worship, we will continue the celebration, with lunch and fellowship together during our picnic on the Church grounds. There is fun for the whole family with music and games on the lawn! Don't miss the fun! To ensure that we have enough food, please sign up
here.

A Note from the Presbyterian Women Moderator
|
The purpose of the Presbyterian Women is to offer all women of our congregation an opportunity to enjoy fellowship, Bible study and service to our church and community. Opportunities include Circles, serving on committees and helping with mission projects. Circles or Bible study groups meet monthly. Our Bible study this year is
“God’s Promise: I Am With You”. There are a variety of Circle meeting times to choose from, and new members are always welcome. Committees include Night Shelter Meals, Funeral Meals and the Transportation Committee. The current mission projects of the Presbyterian Women are the Backpack Program at Coltrane Webb School, and the Todd and Betsy Hobbie Scholarship Fund. The Backpack Program supplies food on a weekly basis for children at Coltrane Webb Elementary School. The Todd and Betsy Hobbie Scholarship Fund provides tuition for two Congolese nursing school students at the Bulape Hospital School of Nursing through the non-profit organization, Congo Helping Hands, a mission of the Presbyterian Church, USA. Donations from church members to these projects provide our continued support of these projects.
Lastly, there are annual events the Presbyterian Women host throughout the year. All women in the church are invited and encouraged to attend these gatherings. There are many ways, large and small to be part of Presbyterian Women this year-I encourage and invite you to join in the fellowship.
