Annual Charlestown Candlelight Vigil took place on Saturday, September 22

, at Hayes Square, with residents gathering to remember those who have lost their battle with substance use.
One hundred fifty-one names were read and included on the heartrending video. The Turn It Around youth passed out candles and read the names of those who have passed. Though emotions overwhelmed many who gathered, it was a night the community came together with the same goal in mind--ending the opioid crisis and preventing deaths caused by overdose.
