An Update on COVID-19
Family Health Center patients and our North Idaho neighbors,

Because of our ongoing commitment to your health and safety, we felt it was important to give you an early May update since so much continues to change. The good news is that there has still not been widespread community transmission of the COVID-19 virus in our area.
For those who are well, but had a cough illness in the last few months or were exposed to someone who had COVID-19, we are now offering a blood antibody test for COVID-19. This test is used to investigate whether a person has been exposed to COVID-19 in the past and has developed antibodies. If you are interested in this testing please make an appointment for a short visit, in person or by video, so we can discuss your situation.

Our clinic continues to be open Monday – Friday 8-5. We are always available for normal office visits in person or by video visit from the convenience of your home or office.

Most visit types, including new concerns, chronic care and wellness visits can be scheduled either way.

We provide personalized, comprehensive health care when and where it is convenient for you.

We offer same day appointments and “quick sick” walk in and video visits every day.

However, if you are running both a fever AND you have cough or respiratory symptoms, we ask that you schedule a video visit to reduce possible exposure to the new virus.
At this time, in accordance with CDC guidelines, we encourage all patients wear a face mask in public spaces in our office.

Please know that we are sanitizing common touch surfaces like door handles, counter tops, and pens several times a day.

Even so, we ask that you practice good personal hygiene habits including hand washing and avoid touching your face when in public.
