Get Out The Vote!!!
The right to vote in free and fair elections is the cornerstone to any thriving democracy. As a Jewish community, we have historically lacked the ability to vote and the agency to express our beliefs in the public sphere. In this country, we have experienced freedoms and opportunities that our ancestors could have never imagined. Now, our community understands it is as our duty to increase voter turnout by helping people register, assisting them in getting to the polls, and educating them about important issues. We recognize that many in our community, specifically those of minority status, have long struggled for the ability to vote without fearing harassment or suppression, and so together we must work to ensure that all who desire will have the opportunity to be a part of the electoral process.

For me, the spiritual highlight of becoming a Bat Mitzvah is officially becoming a part of the adult Jewish community.

For my Tzedakah Project, I am working with LA Rabbits to create more awareness about what really goes into caring for a rabbit and I'm helping to find safe homes for abandoned rabbits.
