Luther Professors Explore COVID-19 - In an effort to keep the Luther Community engaged in active learning, the Center for Ethics and Public Engagement is offering a collection of  faculty talks ,   in which faculty members reflect on the coronavirus from their individual disciplinary perspectives.  A sincere thank you to the initial faculty who have contributed.

Virtual Open Mic Night!  Join the Student Activities Office for our first ever virtual open mic night on Tuesday, April 28 8:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. Let's come together for a night of music and spoken word! We will plan to use Zoom and hope to have around 6-7 performers--feel free to get your families involved! We will share registration information next week so stay tuned! College Ministries is making a video compilation of people reading Psalm 104 to be posted in celebration of Earth Day. It would be great if you could send in a video! Videos need to be recorded in portrait and then sent to  ministry@luther.edu  by the end of Sunday, April 19. Luther College students named Rossing Physics Scholars - Two Luther College students have been named  Rossing Physics Scholars for the 2020-21 academic year.  Third-year students, Aiden C. Berdahl '21 and Nicholas A. Behrens '21 will each receive $5,000 from the Thomas D. Rossing Fund for Physics Education. Each year the foundation makes scholarships available for exemplary students in physics.

The Center for Ethics and Public Engagement invites the Luther community to reflect on the current pandemic - How has this experience changed how you view the "common good"? How have personal or societal values/virtues shifted? What does "active citizenship" mean and require from us at this moment? Send your responses to these questions or other thoughts to  cepe@luther.edu  (under 500 words) to be collected and shared on-line.

Research Help Appointments - Get help with your research paper or project by  booking an appointment  with one of the Preus Librarians. You can sign up for a 30-minute slot to discuss your needs by phone or video conference. You can also send an email to your  Subject Librarian  or fill out our  general request form  to get help.
