TCHS Food Drive
Thank You for Being
The Light!

Thank you to all current and alumni Crusaders who so generously contributed to the TCHS BE THE LIGHT FOOD DRIVE benefiting the Lower Fairfield County Food Bank. Three full, giant bins were collected and donated. As one of the facility's attendants, and the mother of two TCHS graduates, said: "They can close our doors... but they can't change our hearts!" Thank you for BEING THE LIGHT CRUSADER FAMILY!

Junior Ring Ceremony
5.21.20

Under a blue, cloudless morning ten juniors and parents parked in the front driveway for our Annual Ring Ceremony. Father Michael read the passage Luke 15:20 - 23 and followed up with a short explanation on how the ring is a sign of God’s unity with no beginning or end and is a symbol of His unfailing care. "It is a sign that each of you is worthy of His love and care."

It is a reminder of God’s love - that He is faithful and trustworthy - and it will always be a reminder of your connection with this family. Remember that these rings have been blessed and will always remain blessed.

Digital Learning

Please read Mr. Smith's Letter   Here   regarding digital days.

  • Assignments will be posted by 9:00 a.m. to the PlusPortal for each class period.
  • Students are to log into PlusPortals after 9:00 a.m. and complete the assignments posted for their classes.
  • Students have until 10:00 p.m. each day to submit their work (but it is best they adhere to a daily work schedule and submit as they complete).
  • Each student is responsible for the completion of their assignments. Any student who does not complete and submit their work risks failure just as they would in the regular classroom.
  • All assignments given on a digital school day will be counted as part of their grade.
  • Teachers will be available to students via email and students are encouraged to reach out to them with any questions or concerns.
Daily Mass available on Trinity's Website

Fr. Michael is celebrating Mass every day for the TCHS Community and it is livestreamed on Facebook at www.facebook.com/tchsministry .

However, for those of you who don’t use Facebook, it will be uploaded to the school website immediately after Mass on the new TCHS Campus Ministry tab, located at: https://www.trinitycatholic.org/tchs-campus-ministry along with other videos, live chats and rosaries.

Keep in touch with your spiritual base in these times of social distancing. Together, apart means praying together, united in Christ. God bless you all.
Baccalaureate Mass

In time-honored tradition, Trinity Catholic High School will be celebrating the Class of 2020 with the annual Baccalaureate Mass on Wednesday evening, May 27th, at 6:00 p.m. This year will be somewhat different due to the ongoing COVID-19 restrictions on free association, but we are pleased to announce that the Mass will be going ahead and all of our seniors are warmly invited to mark this special rite of passage by giving thanks to God at Holy Mass with their classmates. CIAC Update on Spring Sports

The CIAC’s consideration for any spring sport experience has always been contingent on the re-opening of schools for in-person instruction. This week Governor Lamont ordered the cancellation of in-school classes for the remainder of the 2019-2020 academic year. Therefore, there will not be a 2020 CIAC spring sports season.

The CIAC empathizes with our school communities and the experiences lost due to COVID-19. Email sent on 5/5 .
