California Stage 2 Reopening Begins on Friday
Dear Business Leader:

On Monday, May 4th (yesterday) Governor Newsom announced that California can start moving into Stage 2 of reopening our state on Friday of this week. Stage 2 includes lower risk businesses and workplaces that have adapted social distancing. News is coming from Sacramento at a "fast and furious" pace and we will keep you informed as more news on the re-opening becomes available.

The Board of Supervisors will be meeting today. We will inform you of any recommendations presented by County Public Health Officer, Dr. Wilma Wooten that they adopt at this meeting.

Remember: Social distancing is still in effect and masks must be worn if you are to be within 6 feet of anyone. We need to keep doing what we are doing so that we can move into stage 3 of the guidelines to opening California.

Stage 3 will include higher risk businesses to reopen, with modifications - this includes nail and hair salons, gyms, movie theaters and sports - without live audiences, as well as in-person religious services.

We have traveled this long road to reopening together. We are almost there! Stay safe and continue to follow the guidelines and soon we will all be able to see each other again!

I send you my personal best wishes and know that I miss you!

Mary
Thank you for your support!
