His story is well-remembered... His name, not so much
 
The Greenwood Ark.
"It's the boat some crazy guy in Oly built when the world was supposed to end in the 30s," sums up most of the e-mails I got about this one. Which is fairly correct. 

More accurately, it is "Captain" William Lound Greenwood's ark, built in preparation for a massive 1932 flood that never came.

Those of you who are interested in collecting stamps know there are many iterations of stamps throughout history. For archivists, it is not always the content of the record that holds our interest. Some records here in the Archives include the envelopes on which they were delivered through the mail. Some were sent on the back of a wagon, or in the satchel of a Pony Express. Most of us are not old enough to remember that correspondence could take weeks or... keep reading

A practical overview for students, teachers, local heritage volunteers and family researchers. Teachers are eligible for three free clock hours through the Cispus Learning Center.

Database Administrator David Holt shows us geeks can also be athletic.
David Holt, the Database Administrator at the Digital Archives in Cheney, gives a little behind-the-scenes look at what it's like to work in information technology within a division completely revolving around information technology. 

He even gives warning when he's about to speak "geek" so you know which questions to skip. Just kidding. Don't skip questions. They are all very interesting.
