"Safer at Home" Orders Continue; Plans Begin for Future Modifications
L.A. County Department of Health "Safer at Home" orders are in effect through at least May 15, 2020. Please continue to stay home as much as possible, and only leave home for essential activities .
We are not ready to relax "Safer at Home" restrictions yet. State and County officials are in the first stages of planning in order to start relaxing some of the requirements of the "Stay at Home" and "Safer at Home" orders. See the State of California's Roadmap to Pandemic Resilience to learn more about how California is planning its roadmap forward.

In the meantime, please continue to remain Safer at Home and follow social/physical distancing orders. Please do not congregate or gather with people who are not in your immediate household. Please do not leave home for activities that are not considered essential. If you do go outside, please make sure you are always six feet from others. Please wear a cloth face covering at all times when you are away from home and around others.
Prevent COVID-19 Scams
Identity theft and fraud are on the rise right now. Don't let your stimulus benefits fall into a scammer's hands! Look out for calls, text messages, or emails from scammers trying to steal your money or personal information. Learn more from the FTC.

  • Only use irs.gov/coronavirus to submit information to the IRS. Never directly respond to a call, text, or email with your personal information.
  • When reading emails and text messages, do not click directly on links you don't recognize or open unknown attachments.
  • The IRS won’t contact you by phone, email, text message, or social media with information about your stimulus payment, or to ask you for your Social Security number, bank account, or government benefits debit card account number. Anyone who does is a scammer phishing for your information.
  • You don’t have to pay to get your stimulus money. The IRS won’t tell you to deposit your stimulus check then send them money back because they paid you more than they owed you. That’s a fake check scam.
