This class is for students with beginning to intermediate fitness levels. Students participate in weight training and cardiovascular activities to improve strength and cardiovascular endurance.
Barre:
This fitness based class uses a combination of postures inspired by ballet as well as other disciplines such as Yoga and Pilates. Students use the barre as a prop to assist with balance while doing exercises that focus on isometric strength training combined with high repetitions of small range of motion movements. The use of light weights and mat/core work will be incorporated into the course.
ReFit:
ReFit combines several elements of fitness into one power-packed hour. While the focus is structured around cardiodance movements, toning and flexibility, strength training and stretching are also incorporated into the Refit workout.
Spin HIIT:
This course is intermediate Spinning class, also known as Spinning H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training. This class is made up of a short period of high intensity activity bursts followed by a short period of low intensity recovery movement. All done on the Spinning bike with in thirty-five minutes followed by stretching. Spinning is a full-body, low impact, aerobic exercise that can help strengthen the heart, lower blood pressure, boost energy, burn off excess fat, tone legs and stomach, reduce stress and tension, and boost peak performance.
