What happened last week
Last week, the contractor, KJWoods, sent team members out to distribute notification flyers in the Downtown area to inform residents and businesses about upcoming sewer work. KJWoods conducted utility markings, staking to identify the sewer lines, and posted no parking signs on Corte Madera Ave.
What happened this week
KJWoods conducted the following:
- Material procurement and delivery of pipes
- Potholing activities to obtain visual confirmation of utilities and underground obstructions near or crossing the planned trench area.
- Closed Circuit TV inspection of existing sewer line slated for open trench replacement on Corte Madera Ave.
- Resident and business notifications.
Sewer line work on Corte Madera Ave. commenced this week, with the contractor saw cutting the new 10” sewer line trench. Sewer line work also began at the intersection of Throckmorton Ave. and Corte Madera Ave. near the Mill Valley Market. Sewer line work on Gardner St. is also scheduled to begin.
