Weekend weather wrecks havoc on Riverdale.
Heavy rains Friday night created some flash floods where Riverdale has never seen them before, resulting in flooded basements and mud flows clogging intersections along State Street.
Bulky waste and yard waste pick-up has been suspended for the foreseeable future by Republic Services – which means the Citywide Cleanup scheduled for the week of April 13th has been delayed (among other things).
Scott County offers mental health services for those having problems coping with stress as a result from additional emotional pressures associated with COVID-19 and social distancing.
