Leading Producers Round Table Happening Now: The online qualification application is open – apply for 2020 LPRT from 2019 production/commission – Application closes on June 1. Go to NAHU.org/Resources/LeadingProducersRoundtable/on-line application Video challenge – we are looking for LPRT qualifiers in our region to post to social media, a short video of themselves sharing why they qualify for LPRT and the biggest value to them. Make sure to use hashtag: #NAHU, #LPRT and make the ask to their NAHU friends to do the same. Help us meet our goal of 500 qualifiers. We will have someone at the Idaho State Symposium in April recording the LPRT testimonials. If there are LPRT qualifiers in your region that are willing to be interviewed and featured in ABS, please contact Val Cramer (val.cramer@myhealthbridge.com or Brooke Willson bwillson@nahu.org. Treasure Valley Association of Health Underwriters TVAHU held their first online WebEx on Thursday May 14 th . Our speaker was Steve Jackson of PrimePay, the topic was Employer Strategies in the New Normal. Overall the event was a great success, we had 59 registered attendees. Steve updated us on the final rule extending the time frames for COBRA elections, COBRA payments, and HIPAA special enrollments. In addition, Steve reviewed the difference between furlough employees, terminating employees, and laying off employees and how that relates to benefit offerings.  We look forward to meeting again in person, when we can safely be together as a large group. It is possible that we may have another WebEx meeting in June (stay tuned for additional information).   With the end of my term as President coming to an end I want to thank all of the board members and our membership for the support that they have provided. I could not do this without you. We have grown as a Chapter this year increasing our membership and our budget, in addition we sent a record number of new members to Cap Conference, an experience they will not soon forget! Our Chapter is in good hands with our President Elect, Stacie Anthony. She is not only a great, agent, and mentor but a very close friend. I have confidence that she will take the Board and the membership to the next level.    Stay safe and well, and enjoy this time with your families Terrie Trevino TVAHU President 2019-2020

North Idaho Association of Health Underwriters News from NIAHU, The Board held its May Board Meeting virtually again for this month with only a few delays with audio. Excited to announce that North Idaho Chapter is Silver Certified!!!!! Thank you, Danielle, for submitting the paperwork and thank you to all the Board members for working hard this year in helping with programs and events. It is a job that takes all of us as a team to accomplish! Our Annual May meeting will be held virtually as well, on May 20 th .
