Calgary Old Timers night

All MCA members are encouraged to join us at the social highlight of the year! The 56th Annual Old Timers Night will be held on Friday December 8, to celebrate the "Old Timers" that have given so much to our industry over the years.

Annual Curling Bonspiel

Plan to attend the 68th Annual Provincial Trade Contractors Curling Bonspiel. This great event is hosted at the Red Deer Curling Rink from January 11-14, and is for all levels. Two days of curling, two dinners, a calcutta auction, poker tournament, prizes, and much more!

We have had a great turnout for our October courses. We had 19 members attend the Insurance Bonding 101 seminar in Edmonton where participants learned about risk management, contracts, bonding and project insurance. Thank you to Aon for delivering such a great seminar.

Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program changes

The Alberta government is making changes to the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) ahead of changes by the federal government around temporary foreign workers.

Medical gas installation course

NAIT offers a CSA recognized course for medical gas line installation. This course will prepare students to challenge the medical gas piping and systems installations certification exam.

Next PLMR149 medical gas course intake:
January 9 to January 25, 2018: Tuesday and Thursday, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. and 
Saturdays on January 13 and 20, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
