Caruso-Cabrera Calls on AOC to Get Off the Sidelines and Endorse Biden NOW!
AOC’s previous comments about former VP Joe Biden raise the question:
Can AOC ever credibly and honestly endorse someone she said shouldn't be in the same political party she belongs to ?

Queens, NY - One week after Michelle Caruso-Cabrera raised more than $1 million just 47 days after entering the Democratic primary race for U.S. Congress in NY-14, she called on her primary opponent, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, to endorse Joe Biden for President and unify the party. NOW!

“Democrats must unify now,” says leading Democratic contender Michelle Caruso-Cabrera, “Now’s the time to unite with Joe Biden. Unfortunately, AOC feels she is bigger than the party and I suspect the reason she has remained on the sidelines to date is that she feels she can’t credibly endorse Joe Biden,” said Caruso-Cabrera.

“In the past, AOC warned the Democratic party against cultivating ‘too big of a tent,’ going as far as to say that she and the Democratic party’s presumptive 2020 presidential nominee, former Vice President Joe Biden, would be in different political parties in any other nation,” continued Caruso-Cabrera.

“According to  Salon , AOC has repeatedly berated Joe Biden, even questioning President Obama’s legacy, saying the ‘idea that we can go back to the good old days with Obama, with Obama’s vice president’ may have ‘an emotional element’ for voters ‘but I [AOC] don’t want to go back. I could not disagree more,” Caruso-Cabrera continued.  “As Congresswoman, it will be my mission to build on the legacy of President Obama.

“I first called for unity and support for Joe Biden on March 4 th , immediately after Super Tuesday.  I did the same last week when Bernie Sanders ended his campaign for President. Today, the day after Bernie Sanders endorsed Joe Biden, I call on AOC to do the same - to step-up, endorse Vice President Biden, then come face me in our election June 23 rd .”

“AOC while you’re at it, now might also be a good time to apologize to Joe Biden and all the Democrats in the 14th CD for your personal attacks on Joe Biden, as well as your questioning of the leadership of our last Democratic president, Barack Obama,” concluded Caruso-Cabrera.

“I am running for Congress to unify the party and work to bring people together, get results, and help everyone in the Bronx and Queens overcome the challenging times we are living in,” said Caruso-Cabrera.  “To all the constituents in NY-14, I am ready to work for you.”
