The Tiger's Roar!
Tildenville Elementary School, Winter Garden, FL
"A National Magnet School of Distinction"
Friday, May 15, 2020

Today concludes our 7th week of distance learning and there are now just 7 school days remaining in the school year. What follows are several important reminders and announcements for our Tildenville families for the week ahead. Thank you for your attention.

Paper Packets Drop Off
Parents can continue to drop off paper packets until the last day of school. Any packets dropped off after May 27th will not be included in the report card grades.

Year-End Collection of Materials: Drop Off and Pick Up
Following the district collection of materials plan we have created a schedule for parents to drop off and pickup materials. We understand that this schedule may conflict with work/home schedules and parents may have to come more than once during these days and times. We apologize in advance but this schedule is in place in order to accommodate all grade levels and follow the CDC guidelines to keep everyone safe. Grade level pickup days and times:
  • All pickups will be from 10am - 11:30am
  • 5/18 4th and 5th grade
  • 5/19 4th and 5th grade
  • 5/20 2nd and 3rd grade
  • 5/21 2nd and 3rd grade
  • 5/22 1st, Kindergarten and PreK
  • 5/26 1st, Kindergarten and PreK
There will be an alternative date for anyone who is not scheduled to come at their scheduled time. This date will be posted toward the end of the year.

Parents, if you have items to return to the school, this is the time to do so. These items may include textbooks, library books, and any other items that may need to be returned.

We ask that you come through the car loop and stay in your car. You will pull up to your child's building and a staff member will be there to assist you. At the top of the car loop you will be able to park and drop off packets, access the food pantry if needed and look through the lost and found items.

Last Day of School Parade (May 27)
PTA will be sponsoring a last day of school parade. The information will be posted on the PTA Facebook page, Remind, Tiger's Roar! (below) and our school Facebook page.

Thank You Deputy Threat!
This week has been Police Week across the USA

In 1962, President John F. Kennedy signed a proclamation which designated May 15 as Peace Officers Memorial Day and the week in which that date falls as Police Week. This week honors those that serve and especially those law enforcement officers that have paid the ultimate sacrifice.
Orange County Sheriff's Deputy Threat did a tremendous job of keeping our Tigers and staff safe during the regular school year. We were so glad to have him as part of our Tildenville family and thank him for his service!
