“Praying Standing” | Luke 13:10-17 | Anna Carter Florence

We are delighted that Anna Carter Florence will return to preach for her third time at Plymouth. Dr. Florence is the Professor of Preaching at Columbia Theological Seminary in Decatur, Georgia. She is an ordained minister in the Presbyterian Church (USA) and holds degrees from Yale College and Princeton Theological Seminary (M.Div. and Ph.D.). Her books include Preaching as Testimony, Inscribing the Word , and Rehearsing Scripture . Anna and her husband David have two grown children, Caleb and Jonah.

Nursery care is year round @ 9:30 am for children up to 3 years old.

Sunday School for children begins @ 10:00 am in Worship.

Following Worship | Fellowship and coffee in Hillis Hall and the Gym.

We gather to share coffee, cookies and conversation. Join us after worship.

Church Retreat | October 18-20

Families and individuals of Plymouth are invited away for the weekend to the beautiful Edith Macy Center in Briarcliff Manor, NY (accessible by train) where we will relax, get to know one another, and deepen our understanding of what it means to Listen to the Spirit. Guest speaker Camilla Ballard will lead us in our discussions.

Our days may be full of end-of-summer trips, back-to-school activities, as much ice cream as we can stuff in our mouths, and maybe, just maybe some extra hours of R&R. Or we’re stuck at work. Either way, SAVE THE DATE for a day of fun this fall! Psst...Beecher Garden will become Beercher Garden. Stay tuned!

Sadie Horton is leading the charge on our Yankee Fair 2019 Craft Table! The Craft Team plans to meet twice weekly through the Fall and has some group projects in mind. Individual contributions are also welcome and encouraged! Meet us at coffee hour on Sunday, September 8, 2019. You can also express your interest by emailing Sadie.   

Grace Church Hymn Sings | Tuesdays in August @ 7-8:30 PM

This summer, Grace Church will be again hosting its Tuesdays in August Hymn Sings. Under the leadership of Paul Olson, these sings will feature guest hosts Patricia Woodard (August 20) and Jacque Jones (August 27). Open to all - come and join in the singing in the air-conditioned choir room at Grace Church.

Women's Bible Study | Wednesdays @ 10:30 AM - noon

This group meets weekly to discuss topics related to the Bible and living a life of faith. All women of the Plymouth community are invited to join.
