Business Issues & Public Policy Meeting
August 14, 2019 | 12:00pm - 1:30pm | Chamber Boardroom

 Identifies and acts on key issues of interest to Mountain View businesses. Areas of focus include local, state and federal legislative issues, as well as business and industry related issues such as transportation, development, regulation and business trends. The committee meets on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. 12:00pm – 1:30pm at the Mountain View Chamber.

ICYMI: Technology Showcase 2019 Wrap Up & How To Be An Exhibitor Next Year
In case you missed it, Technology Showcase 2019 was well attended and we’re already planning next year’s event. This was the 5th year that we have partnered with the city and had this wonderful tech festival on the plaza in front of city hall.
 
We had 43 Mountain View tech companies showing their products to residents, possible investors, the media, and perhaps even their competitors. It was truly a diverse crowd. Around 1750 people wandered through the booths, asking questions, watching demos, and trying out the technology. It’s really the only chance most of them get to interact directly with the inventors and decision makers, so the event is always a favorite of Mountain View locals... read more
Get the Shift You Want! Mountain View Art & Wine Festival Volunteer Applications
No plans in September? No Problem! Come out to a festival like no other! The 48th Annual Art & Wine Festival in Mountain View takes place on September 7th and 8th and we need volunteers! Do you like hanging out with your friends and talking to people? Grab your friends and work a booth at the biggest event of the year in Mountain View. 

Help us reach our goal of 400 volunteers. For every 50 volunteers we receive, we will unlock a new must-see video!  See what Ashley did when we reached 150 volunteers! Click the first highlight on Instagram to see.

There are four shifts that have openings:
Saturday 9/7: 10:30am- 3pm and Saturday 9/7: 2:30pm-7:15pm
Sunday 9/8: 9:30am-2:00pm and Sunday 9/8: 1:30-6:15pm

Concerts on the Plaza | Aug 16
The Community Services Department proudly presents Concerts on the Plaza! The concert series will take place on the first AND third Friday of the month April through September from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Join your friends and neighbors and bring your blanket or lawn chair down to the Civic Center Plaza for a variety of musical performances. In addition to the music, there will be a food truck, a “Pop Up Park” area for children and for adults, beer and wine.
