CHECK OUT OUR RAH5K HIGHLIGHT VIDEO!
We usually do the "Rally Point Recap" at the end of our newsletter, but we just couldn't wait! The 1st Annual RAH5K event was AWESOME and we were just too excited about it! We had 367 amazing patriots who came out and ran with our youth from the Tulsa Dream Center!
We just wanted to give a HUGE shout out and 'THANK YOU' to all our Difference Makers who helped make this event possible! From those who directed traffic, worked packet pickup, set-up & tear down, passed out medals or water or pushed your friends to come out and support. YOU MADE A DIFFERENCE and we APPRECIATE YOU!
A special 'Thank You' to Fleet Feet Tulsa for donating the use of some of their equipment, to the Tulsa Police Department for leading out our event and to Sara Hutchinson and the Fused Trio for singing our National Anthem.
Congratulations to our Best Overall Male & Female Runners: Neil Strom & Lesley Nelson!

The Monday after Race Day is for BRAGGING! We asked you on Facebook and Instagram to show off your RAH5K hardware and you did not disappoint! We just wanted you to know we saw you and you wore it well! Congratulations!
Following the RAH 5K was our family day event. It was WARM, ya'll! We are so thankful to all the organizations and businesses that came out to participate, lend a hand, and share your resources. We could not have done it without you.

WELCOME HOME 5K
November 9th, 2019

Join us in Honoring Our Veterans!
For the past three years, DAV has held their DAV5K event in Tulsa. Unfortunately, this year it was decided that the National Series would not be returning to Tulsa.
Eagle OPS has supported the DAV5K since the inaugural event in 2016. We want to continue to support OKDAV and make sure the traditions of this event can continue.
Join The Eagle OPS Foundation in support of Oklahoma DAV! This is more than just a 5K. This is a Welcome Home event! This is an opportunity to express patriotism and together, show our veterans how much we appreciate their service to this country!
The battle for home is claiming more veteran lives to suicide than the heroes we lose in combat. This, and more, is why we created Eagle OPS Foundation! We are taking the fight to the front lines within our own community where Difference Makers can join our mission to end this tragedy and honor our veterans & their families by “Connecting relationships & resources to bring our heroes home, one operation at a time.” We recognize battles are never won alone, and that’s why Eagle OPS is proud to introduce the First Annual WELCOME HOME 5K, supporting Oklahoma Disabled American Veterans. Together, we can bring our heroes home, one operation at a time!
*Donations made through the 'WELCOME HOME 5K' registration and fundraising will benefit the mission of the The Eagle OPS Foundation and the mission of OKLAHOMA Disabled American Veterans.

EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN!

Are you a business owner or do you know a business that would like to be a Sponsor for the Welcome Home 5K?
At the 2018 DAV5K, Eagle OPS presented the Honor Bridge Memorial with the help of our sponsor,
Williams Company. With the overwhelming support for this portion of the 5K, we knew we had to make it a part of our Welcome Home 5K as well. Williams will again sponsor this portion of our event.
We'll soon be accepting submissions for our 2019 Honor Mile Honorees.

MISSION CRITICAL PARTNERS
It is always difficult for us to decide who to highlight as a mission critical partner. The truth is that we have many great businesses and organizations that support our veterans and the mission of Eagle OPS.
When choosing this month, we decided it had to be
Fleet Feet Tulsa
. We could not have had such a successful RAH5K event without them. From race knowledge, allowing us to post up at their Kingspointe location as our packet pickup Rally Point, and donating use of some of their equipment. Fleet Feet is class act American patriotism!
Furthermore,
Fleet Feet Tulsa
shared some space for our G.R.I.T.-FIT Rally Point during their annual 4th of July Firecracker 5K. Union's AFJROTC Cadets presented colors before the run and our team our team crossed the finish line with Guts, Initiative, and Resiliency...TOGETHER!
We look forward to continued partnership with Fleet Feet Tulsa and ALWAYS appreciate them being difference makers for our service members and veterans!

What are the Eagle OPS Operations?
Collaboration and support of the many veteran service organizations to ensure opportunities to connect veterans with the relationships and resources available to them.
Community operations where veterans, veteran families and patriots form meaningful bonds with each other through social events and activities. These connections build meaningful relationships that combat loneliness and isolation.
Recognizing the deep, military cultural mindset of "Service" that our veterans hold dear, we actively encourage community partners to provide opportunities for veterans, veteran families and patriots to be difference makers by connecting with each other and their communities through acts of service and volunteerism.
